I am a true Brazilian mutt, born in a half-German, half-Native family. At only 12, I landed my first job in the film industry, that is, in my mom’s video rental shop. There I learned from the best and went on to lose all my Latino skills on a 20+ year long advertising career across five countries, digging cultural truths, helping global brands find their voice and butchering languages in São Paulo, Prague, Berlin, Gothenburg and Amsterdam.
It’s been quite a ride and along the way I was lucky to win, define and grow global clients like Audi, Axe, adidas, LEGO, Coca-Cola, Google and Smirnoff. Some of this work picked major awards, like the Gunn Report for most awarded campaign in the world, some made it to Super Bowls and World Cups. And one even won the legendary Golden Nutcracker of Prague.
Yes, funny. But if you can tell a story in Czech, you can tell a story pretty much anywhere.

Proud employee #14 of the Amsterdam office, I was lucky to win, define and grow some of 72’s most iconic global brands, such as Audi, Axe, adidas, Coca-Cola and Smirnoff, helping 72andSunny expand globally and get recognized among the most innovative companies in the world.
From Amsterdam I led the re-positioning of Axe, with the Find Your Magic campaign, and created the We're Open global platform for Smirnoff. I helped the office lead adidas' global creative duties, pushing the brand to the world’s Top 20 Risers by the end of the World Cup cycle.
Recently, I led the creative charge on Audi and Coca-Cola, helping win both businesses and launch a Super Bowl campaign for the German cars and the Open Like Never Before platform for Coke. My latest mission, as Chief Writer/CD, was to elevate and diversify the Craft of writing across the company.

Working on adidas global, I led fully integrated campaigns for the football category, such as the launch of the new Predator boots on EA's FIFA12, the first campaign ever to change the very content of the video game. I also interviewed Robin Van Persie, but that’s a different story.

Working with adidas, Pedigree, Playstation, Absolut and VISA, I helped the small Berlin office rise to the Top 5 creative agencies in Germany. I lead the team that won the McDonald's / FIFA World Cup creative duties and helped win the German McCafé and the global Tassimo/ Kraft Foods businesses.

I was lucky to help Kaspen grow into the largest and most prestigious Czech independent agency, winning Nike's local creative duties and leading some of their business defining and award-winning work for Vodafone, Budweiser/Budvar and Matusalem Rum.

Languages and other traits
I’m fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish. I speak decent German, some French and have successfully ordered beers in Czech, Swedish and Dutch.
I’m very good at drinking coffee and sometimes write stories. I have a Thai clone and can prove it. I’m trying my hand at Jungian psychoanalysis as a hobby. Dangerous, I know.
Once I wrote the lyrics of a punk rock song. It was in Spanish, or so I thought, but it got produced by Roy Cicala, who also produced Hendrix, Lennon and Bowie, so I decided to leave music while I was winning.
My ongoing personal project is my Anglo-Dutcho-Brazilian son, Noah.
