THE IMPOSSIBLE GOALKEEPER
For the opening of the EuroCup, we built a 61m tall version of goalkeeper Petr Cech, with 8 arms spinning along the Ferris wheel of the Prater amusement park in Vienna, one of the city's dearest landmarks.
After two weeks of massive coverage from international media, the press declared adidas the winner of the Euro Cup run, recognized by 30% of the audience, against 12% for the competitors.
Despite Cech’s soap hands against Turkey, the huge goalie became the symbol of event and was listed by the Gunn Report among the most awarded work in the world.
