adidas needed a bold statement in the most crucial moment of the year for a sports brand: when football season is about to re-start.
The pre-season is dominated by gossip, transfer talk and speculation. So we rallied some of the world’s greatest footballers to say a simple thing: less BLAH, more WOW.
For the launch, we had a little help from mega-agent Mino Raiola. We answered his innocent tweet about Pogba’s transfer rumors with a full-blown campaign that sent the gossip machine crazy.
Suddenly adidas was the source for news on the biggest transfer in history and hijacked football culture for weeks.
